CONGRATS! I’m moving to a more walkable city next year and i can’t wait to do the same :’) I bet it feels amazing not having to care for a car - what a huge money save too!
Oh my gosh, i love that SO MUCH! That sounds like a blast! Are you swimming laps or is it like water aerobics? Good for you - i bet it’s a cool way to meet people too :-)
I’ve majorly decreased digital clutter by simply unsubscribing from every single marketing email I get. even for companies I like, I don’t need to be inundated with ads and sales promo. it’s so lovely opening my inbox and not seeing a thing!!
I love this so much! Such great suggestions. I also feel the same about Instagram. I don’t wish to quit it, but have a discipline relationship with it. Good for you! 🤍
Yes yes yes to NOT watching people’s IG stories and rawdogging walks. One other thing that helped me significantly is joining clubs on my own and of course, not posting about them on social media. This year, I’ve joined a writing club, a reading club, and a hiking club. It’s been so refreshing just interacting with people I would never have come across if I continued scrolling on my phone. There is a world out there and it’s been such a delight experiencing it!
I know I’m late to this post but agree on Instagram and the lack of being “social” on “social media” apps and how it feels so weird and intrusive at times.
I also deleted TikTok when the ban happened. Something about that whole situation just made me want to get away from it completely! Don’t regret it.
I have picked back up my journalling habit. I don't do anything fancy like you see people doing. I literally just write and word dump every chaotic/happy/sad/angry/whatever thought right on the page. I see it kinda like when you just unceremoniously spill your dirty laundry out of the basket into the washing machine. The way it instantly makes me feel like I *can* carry the weight has been so necessary for me.
Selling my car and taking public transport. Yesterday made one year with that decision. :)

Thank you! That’s so exciting, congratulations to the move! It’s such a weight loss. Immediate money saver, it also humanizes my life so much more :D
I started a swimcourse to improve my skills and i love it! I’m not top of the class but i never could imagine loving swimming so
Much . It gives me so much energy and i’m so proud of myself : )

Thank you so much for reading, Shawna! Means a lot!
Wow I did a serious side-eye at “Bobby” Approved for a minute there, thinking that was a MAHA reference. 😬😬 lol. Glad to see it’s not!
Oh absolutely not - you won’t find any of that here!

I also love walks in nature with no music. ✨
i quit using streaming services and reverted back to physical media and using an iPod! It's made my listening and watching more intentional!
